Around this time of the year, while the classics and Grand Tours are in full swing, the Hampsten brothers are at their happiest. Memories are relived of Andy’s wearing of the Maillot blanc during the 1986 Tour de France and a 4th overall finish, not to mention that phenomenal Giro d’Italia win in 1988. Steve, meanwhile, coordinates the production of Hampsten Cycles such as this MAX model, liveried in the Eddy Merckx scheme from Eddy’s sponsorship in 1989.

In honor of Andy. Someday, I'm going on one of his tours in Italy.
