The Apaiser stone bath in the master bedroom ensuite is positioned in the best spot to take in the magnificent ocean view. “We created two covered outdoor deck areas that can be used according to the weather,” Eduardo explains. The courtyard area, pictured here, provides protection if it’s windy and is a great spot to chill out, while the backyard deck features a pizza oven, barbecue and ocean vista.

In the open-plan casual family area, layers of textural interest have been added through accessories, such as linen slip covers on the sofas, a large carved piece of timber on the floor and a sisal rug from the [Natural Floorcovering Centre](http://www.naturalfloor.com.au/|target="_blank"). The stone statues are by Zimbabwean sculptor Dominic Benhura.
