The dive, Bondi. Brett Whiteley. Intriguing how he gets a Japanese feel in his shapes & brushwork, the wave reflects the bottom of the diver and the foam on the sand.

National Portrait Gallery, Canberra - Brett Whiteley, I love this portrait of Whiteley. His bird works are some of my favourite!

The Brett Whiteley Studio at 2 Raper Street, Surry Hills, was the workplace and home of Australian artist Brett Whiteley (1939–1992). Now a gallery and studio museum managed by the Art Gallery of NSW.

This was the actual studio of ill-fated artist and beloved Sydney icon, Brett Whitely. Trawling through reference books, observing unfinished works and even a look through Whitley’s music collection is a moving and unique experience
