In the Western world the svastika has come to represent the evil of the Nazis of World War II. But the word itself written “swastika” in English means "fortunate" and "auspicious" in Sanskrit. In the Tibetan Zhangzhung language it is referred to as yungdrung, meaning “everlasting.” It is an ancient ~symbol~.
