The Bendigo Hotel in Dunolly is not a pub you can head into. It’s a pub with no beer, and it’s been that way for almost 100 years. Now, it’s up for sale, and it’s expected to fetch $1.5M. Frozen in time, the Bendigo Hotel was purchased by the current owner’s family from the publican, Robert Samers, in 1925. The building has since been used as storage for their neighbouring business, T.P. Daley General Merchant.
