Renee Scarf
The beautiful @juliasandlant in her Renee Scarf 💙 I wanted to share Julia's story here too. I had never heard of her condition, and this fact alone reinforces so much the importance of research in this space. In Julia's own words: "I was born a fighter and I am proud that this will help fund research in the future, as tumours should never be a persons normal."
Sustainable Headscarves for Cancer Patients
I sat down to speak to the team at @childrenscancerinstitute yesterday about the importance of research in pushing forward the future of cancer treatment. I have dedicated 10% of 'For Andy's' sales profits towards this, and am excited to work closer with the team at Children's Cancer Institute to spread awareness of a cause so dear to my heart ❤️
Scarves Launch
Our Season 2 Launch of Scarves is live! Limited quantities available as once these babies have sold out they aren't coming back - that's the best part of using off-cut fabric, you know you're taking home a truly once in a lifetime design 💚 Thinking of Gemma a little extra today and wishing she was here to rock one.
Our Sustainability Values
Sustainable practices aren't just a 'nice-to-have' anymore. Rather, they are a non-negotiable aspect of running a responsible business. Our postal packaging is 100% plastic free and biodegradable. Our tissue wrap is also FCS certified, printed on acid free paper using soy-based inks and is 100% recyclable and biodegradable. Our printed cards are designed as art pieces which can be kept, but they and all other cardboard included in your order can also be safely recycled while being 100% cute.
Sarah Scarf
Introducing the Sarah Scarf. Last but DEFINITELY not least, this fiery scarf inspired by the ferocious and loving woman that is Sarah Young. Sarah's encountered more setbacks than I can even comprehend, but is always one to make light of a shitty situation - whether it's chemo acne or prednisone moon face - she is a vibrant force to be reckoned with. Launching 9am 31st March.
Renee Scarf
Introducing the Renee Scarf. Renee's story will always blow me away. After being diagnosed with a high-risk cancer so rare that a few years ago it had no treatment options at all, and withstanding a surgery so complex that had the top oncologists in the country were dying to watch, Renee has never been anything but a ray of sunshine in all of our lives. I wanted to capture this kind, calming energy with a gorgeous blue print that reminded me of the ocean. Launching 9am 31st March.
Sunflowers for Sarcoma
"Sunflowers are a symbol used by sarcoma communities around the globe to remind those affected that there is hope for a brighter future." Hmm. Not everyone is lucky enough to get to see a future on the other side of sarcoma. This is why 10% of our profits go towards genetic research for incurable / aggressive childhood cancers - the cancers that don't receive a heap of funding and in turn take many young lives every single year. Wearing the Gemma Scarf - launching 9am 31st March.
Gemma Scarf
Introducing the Gemma Scarf. It is one of the big privileges of my life to have known, and to have loved Gemma. You couldn't have found someone more radiant and electric - it was almost like you could feel the energy of the entire room lift as soon as she came in. I wanted her scarf to be loud. A statement that no one would miss if you had it on. I wanted it to be exciting and electric and capture that zest for life that she had. Launching March 31st at 9am 💚
