The City Mutual Life Assurance Building is an exemplary piece of commercial Art Deco architecture in Sydney. Located on the 5th floor, this boutique office has views over other landmark buildings around Hunter and Bligh streets. The brief called for a high level of privacy and storage space; the long and narrow footprint limited the natural daylight to the front of house, so functional spaces are organized to one side, leaving a clear path of light from front to the back.
