Happy Birthday! - Deconstructing Jen
Sharing a fun clean and simple card I made using a watercolor background and stamps and dies from @simonsaysstamp #cardmaking #handmade #simonsaysstamp
Oh Happy Day!
I cut 2 5.5×4.25 panels of Bristol Smooth paper. I rubbed my ink pad, one color at a time, on my craft mat and spritzed water. I picked up the ink with an acetate sheet and started smooshing ink onto the paper. Concord and 9th’s Enjoy It All stamp set for the sentiment. I stamped Enjoy It All with black onyx Versafine ink, then heat embossed w clear Ranger EP. I die cut card front using the largest wonky frame from MFT.
Distress Oxide Glaze Technique: Christmas
By Dianne Johnson. Distress Oxide Glaze Technique (CASE'd from Tim Holtz). Smear 3 colors of Distress Oxides on craft mat. Spritz. Tap glossy cardstock in inks repeatedly until you like what you see. You can dry the piece between taps or not. Use a brush to splatter ink on the piece if desired. When finished, dry the ink. Buff with paper towel. Using a blending tool, apply Distress Glaze all over the piece. Buff. Use as a background or die cut from it.
