Day 29 of the Camino Wander | Travel Far Enough | It was pretty monotonous today. No one was chatty as it seemed the consensus was to plow through and get to our own destination as quickly as possible. It seems the universe isn’t done testing my resilience just yet.

Day 30 of the Camino Wander | Travel Far Enough | Like every Spanish mile, what was to be 16km turned into 21km. Oh well. I made it another day. I have now walked 478km. Now a two day rest in Astorga.

Day 28 of the Camino Wander | Travel Far Enough | Today was a pretty brutal day. First, it was 6km of city walking, then 15km of bitterly cold headwind. The wind blew me off the path more than once. I felt strong. Now I feel beaten up!

Best Day in Tokyo for the Stationery-Obsessed, Music-Loving Nerd | Travel Far Enough | We spent four hours in a 100 year old stationary store. This was just one of the amazing discoveries we found in Tokyo.

Day 43 of the Camino Wander | Travel Far Enough | We were packed up and on the trail around 8 am and had a ‘short day’ of 20km to walk. (Spanish miles = 23km). I'm tiring of the headphone hikers.

Day 44 of the Camino Wander | Travel Far Enough | I can't say too much about today. It was a fairly unremarkable walk. We watched the kilometre markers count down (they are only available since Sarria). The atmosphere has changed. I have only 19km to go on the Camino.

Day 45 of the Camino Wander | Travel Far Enough | I made it. I made it to Santiago de Compostela. It’s been 45 days to walk 740km and 1,318,191 steps ❣️

Day 42 of the Camino Wander | Travel Far Enough | It's been long days of walking. Yesterday was constant up and down of hills and 23km. Today was a lot of road walking and 27km. I smell of Tiger Balm to soothe my legs, my knees, my feet and, believe it or not, my right butt cheek.

Day 39 of the Camino Wander | Travel Far Enough | Today was a day of fairytales. Not only was it a gorgeous morning made up of fog-covered valleys and watching calves being born, but the views!

Day 40 of the Camino Wander | Travel Far Enough | I had moments along this journey where I didn’t think I would even get to this point. We arrived and walked through Sarria. What an eye-opener!

Day 38 of the Camino Wander | Travel Far Enough | I conquered O Cebreiro today! What a beautiful village it was. After a hearty breakfast, it was onwards - up and down, before another massive climb...only later to find my private room for the night had a view of the Camino from the window and the sounds of nothing but the afternoon bovine traffic jam.

Day 36 of the Camino Wander | Travel Far Enough | A short wander today, filled with laughter and joy. The spirit continued with a great community environment when I stayed for the night in Trabadelo at Casa Susi - An Aussie's Albergue on the Camino!
