Your employer has a legal obligation to maintain a healthy and safe working environment (including mental health) and systems of work to eliminate or control risks to the psychological health of employees and contractors.  If you are feeling stressed at work, you can report this to your health and safety representative or your employer.  If you do not have a health and safety representative you can follow up your issues with WorkSafe (http://www.worksafe.vic.gov.au/) or your union.

So if you're paid in cash, make sure you get a payslip and that your employer is paying you correctly and taking out all your tax.
