**Downsize your laundry.** Slotting your washing machine and dryer into a cupboard enables you to have a laundry in high-traffic areas such the kitchen or bathroom, which can also be shut it away. Also utilise any spare surface area for storage by building in shelves, shacks and hooks. GLEBE RESIDENCE by The Designory + B2 Construction. This ornate and traditional terrace was given a complete overhaul by providing a refreshed and modernised space. The brief was to retain and enhance existing period details whilst adding customised functionality and new indoor/outdoor kitchen, new bathroom and hideaway laundry along with updates to the rear courtyard, second story balcony, and bedrooms. A bespoke staircase was also incorporated to introduce natural light.
Concertina doors in the hallway conceal a small but perfectly formed laundry. **Washing machine**, [LG](http://www.lg.com/au/?utm_campaign=supplier/|target="_blank"). **Baskets**, [Bloom & Co](http://bloomandco.com.au//?utm_campaign=supplier/|target="_blank"). **Tapware**, [Astra Walker](http://www.astrawalker.com.au//?utm_campaign=supplier/|target="_blank"). **Joinery**, Werribee Joinery & Cabinet Works.
Design idea: create a focal point with tile in your bathroom, the vanity is a great place for it. We love this cool blue tile paired with marble and dark floor tile. If you like this too, choose Morning Thaw of Dusty Blue in a Subway tile.
