On Friday, September 27 the workers voted to accept an agreement that addressed many of their concerns, including job security and staffing levels, thus ending the stand-off.  CFMEU Mining and Energy Division Victorian President Luke van der Meulen paid tribute to the operators’ families and the Latrobe Valley community for their support during the lockout.
