Pop-Up City
The Bluetube Bar is a new and refreshing piece of architecture from Portugal. The bar, which is created by Porto-based design collective DOSE, is made of low-cost materials. Main element is the recognizable blue tube, usually used for construction work in public space. Wrapped around the construction, the blue tube gives the bar a colorful facade and interesting light effect during night hours when the structure is illuminated from within. // by DOSE

Bits of Wood by Pepe Heykoop | Dezeen
Called Bits of Wood, the stools and table use offcuts from a saw mill and tin from the local recycling facilities. The pieces are packed tightly then fused together with the molten tin, so that the ends of the scrap become part of the seat or table top.
