Ballarat's glow in the dark mushrooms
So here's something you don't see every day – glow in the dark mushrooms! @jake.bolton.photo captured this magical shot in Lal Lal on the outskirts of Ballarat. "Omphalotus nidiformis (also known as ghost fungi) start popping up around this time of year," Jake said. "These bioluminescent mushrooms look like any other mushroom but once the sun goes down is when the magic happens and they get an eerie green glow to them."
