Volunteering programs
Mount Barker Community Centre, The Willows Children’s Centre and Women's Information Service (WIS) are working together to recruit and train new WIS Volunteers and open "The Haven, Mount Barker" The Haven. We will assist women seeking to escape an abusive relationship, or to access counselling or practical support. Applications are now open to become a WIS volunteer. CRAFT AND CHAT PORT PIRIE
Craft & Chat Port Pirie WIS Haven Come along and join other women to learn craft in a relaxed, friendly environment. Make new friends, learn new skills and take home something great. Everything you need will be provided at no cost. The sessions will run during school term. About Grants SA
Due to the COVID-19 public health emergency, the normal Grants SA program is ceasing operations until further notice. The ‘COVID-19 Support Grant’ is a modified Grants SA initiative that has been released to support not-for-profit organisations continue to provide services to vulnerable and disadvantaged people in South Australia during the COVID-19 public health emergency. Grants of up to $10,000 are available to eligible not-for-profit community organisations .
