Horsehoe Bend — Extreme conditions together with limited planting and material options required that the team think creatively when specifying and procuring plants. As a result, the local community were shocked to discover our team were importing Trachycarpus Fortunei or Windmill Palm from the North Island. Planted in our custom planters the palms are very comfortable in their new climate and are an important part of the overall design scheme. ⁠

Howea House — Poppy of Poco Design‘s vision for the home was very modern and clean, and fortuitously, involved a lot of green. We took cues from this and kept the plant selection restrained and relied on variations in texture and tone and kept the rear garden quite disciplined.⁠

Made entirely from stacked local stone, it features an open fire, pizza oven, and seating supplied by Restoration Hardware. ⁠The plants among the stone at Horseshoe Bend's outdoor entertaining area create a serene oasis, softening the layers of stone with their greenery, highlighting the grounds' rustic elegance and seamlessly blending natural elements with modern amenities.
North Shore Charm
North Shore Charm — The home’s entrance is framed by garden beds generously filled with a variety of plant species creating a comfortable mix of texture and tones. Convolvulus and Slavia ‘Purple Majesty’ introduce touches of vibrant purple. The plant life in vibrant shades of green catches the light and as the seasons change so do the flowers and colours on display.
Jacaranda House
Jacaranda House — There is an abundant mix of species creating colour and textural variation and visual interest at all sight lines. Tucked away below street level this Georgian style home is blessed with an abundance of space. An existing courtyard frames the entrance to the home and welcomes guests into this green space.
