Harbour House — The carefully selected species thrive in the shade of the towering palms, creating a garden that feels like it has always been part of the landscape. Today it is a vibrant, thriving space, evoking the feeling akin to being lost within a rainforest.

Harbour House — Evolving over a number of years this project is the result of a highly collaborative design process that sees the client benefit from a renewed sense of ownership over their garden. We retained the structural layout but focused on transforming the planting scheme. Mature trees such as Achontophoenix Cunninghamiana were carefully chosen, and new elements were introduced, always ensuring they echoed the home's copper and sandstone tones.

Design Notes — Consider using Dwarf Oleander for a bold focal point, or Olive Trees in classic terracotta for both an authentic Mediterranean feel and timeless elegance. Rosemary or Aptinia are ideal for smaller, movable containers, providing aromatic foliage that enhance the sensory experience.

Harbour House — “Here, beneath a canopy of Archontophoenix Cunninghamiana, the lush planting of Alcantarea Imperialis and Philodendron ‘Xanadu’ creates a feeling akin to being lost within a rainforest.” says our Founder, Anthony Wyer. It is also a moment to look upon, a tranquil outdoor space that can be viewed and experienced from the adjacent ground-floor bedrooms.

Harbour House — Our response to the client’s brief was driven by the orientation of this unique harbourfront property. Nestled high amongst the treetops, our design incorporates the use of curved and continuous lines together with organic and imperfect form to soften the architectural backdrop.
