Canvas is a beautiful visual representation of learning. Sometimes, though, it can be hard to fit a lot of text in without cluttering your work. Instead, you could create a separate document with all the text you need, give it a nice picture as a header, then drag the document in to a shape in Canvas. You can then direct your families to click on the shape to view the document!
We used tables to create a space for your children to track what they are growing in your service's garden and discuss changes and observations they make over time with an early introduction to the scientific method. This can be used as part of larger inquiry or sustainability based projects at your service.
Room Vision Board - Canvas.pdf
We used Canvas to create a space where a team or individual can come together and brainstorm ideas, goals, inspiration, experiences etc for a room and have this logged someone as the term/year progresses. Reflections can be added to this over time to see if the execution runs alongside the plan!
Jottings - Canvas.pdf
We used Canvas to create a space where educators can document, store and sort their jottings digitally and use these for future planning and reflection. These do not have to be shared with families and can be used by numerous educators across rooms. You and your team can change/update the sorting categories as they suit your practice.

Related Interests
We used Tables to create a space where children can independently or with assistance, complete a self reflection on how they feel they have worked towards and/or achieved their learning goal. Children should also be a part of the goal setting process so they can see the cycle from beginning to end. These self reflections can be further shared with families using Home!
