Variety Place, Kings Park. An amazing nature based playground with all the facilities you need to settle in for a BBQ or a picnic. We love the fort on the hill and the huge 'birdsnest' swing! There's tunnels, balance logs, a small maze and climbing equipment too.

Charles Riley Reserve, North Beach. The highlights for us were the flying foxes and the awesome sand play conveyor belt. Plenty more play equipment and lots of grass for a picnic and to kick a footy.

Synergy Parkland, Kings Park. A definite must-do if you are visiting Perth with kids. A beautiful spot with an island fort playground and other play equipment. Zamia Cafe is located here too which serves great food and coffee!

Hillary's playground. An amazing shaded playground right on the beautiful beach at Hillary's! You can settle in for hours, while your kids play here! Many great restaurants and shops are located here too.

Leederville Park playground, Leederville. An awesome nature based playground. Fully fenced and especially great for younger kids. Close to lots of amazing cafes and restaurants in Oxford Street. Picnic tables, table tennis table and a great skateboard ramp!

Volcano park, Belmont. A huge range of play equipment, fully fenced and a volcano which has 'steam' (misted water) coming out the top! We love it!

Tomato Lake Reserve, Kewdale. A fantastic playground located lakeside. Great for all ages!
